anniversary on Saturday, May 21st!

for an evening of free fun and entertainment,
when Aliante celebrates its second anniversary
on Saturday, May 21st. The public is welcome to
enjoy a Spring Concert by "Island Tyme,” followed
by a spectacular fireworks show presented by
Pyritz Pyrotechnics.
The festivities will take place from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
in Aliante's 20-acre Nature Discovery Park, which is
located just south of the Aliante Parkway exit, off 1-215.
The celebration will also feature free prize raffles,
non-alcoholic margaritas and leis, while supplies
last. Visitors are invited to bring blankets, lawn chairs
and picnic baskets. Food and refreshments will also
be available for sale.

Aliante’s second annual “Trails & Tails” event on April 9th was a huge success, drawing
hundreds of participants and raising thousands of dollars for Lied Animal Shelter.
Trails & Tails featured a 5-K Run and a 1 Mile Doggie Stroll. Following the races, Lied Animal
Shelter held a pet adoption in Nature Discovery Park.
Lied Animal Shelter is currently seeking funds to complete construction of a much needed,
$14.5-million expansion to accommodate the growing number of animals it serves on a daily
basis. If you’d like to adopt a pet or contribute to the expansion, call 702-384-3333.

functions for the facilities.
North Valley Enterprises, LLC donated the land and paid all costs for construction of the
three parks, which collectively encompass 45 acres.
