Do parents or guardians have to register a child in school each year?

The Following information was taken from the "How To Enroll Your Child In School" pamphlet, which was created by the Clark County School District.

he short answer is "yes," you do have to register your child each year. There are many reasons for this, but the main reasons are to update information, and to re-establish that your child will be attending the same school. The intention of this policy is not to cause undo stress, but is to make sure that the school office and teaching staff have an accurate count of the students that will be attending each year and that our records reflect appropriate and up-to-date information. Often parents wish to change information in the record such as emergency contact or family data. This yearly update is helpful. Thank you for your support of this school district policy. We realize that some families may feel that this process is cumbersome or inconvenient. If you have any more registration questions, check out the "Registration" page.
