We've moved during the middle of the school year, what do I have to do?

he Following information was taken from the "How To Enroll Your Child In School" pamphlet, which was created by the Clark County School District. We have also provided several .pdf documents on our "Registration Page" that can be downloaded for registration purposes. We hope that having the registration documents available online will be helpful to parents or guardians who want to prepare registration papers at home before having to turn them into the office. You can also find out if your child is eligible for school district bus transportation by going to the links located at the middle and near the bottom of this page. Thank you.

f you have moved from outside the Clark County School District and are zoned for Goynes ES, you will need to bring in the following information to register:


1. proof of address (Any two of the following items may be used as a proof of address; purchase/lease agreement ,(a mortgage statement will not be accepted), a current North Las Vegas Water bill, a current Nevada Power bill , a current Southwest Gas bill)


2. birth certificate or passport – It must be official with a raised seal (copies will not be accepted)


3. Social Security Number of student (if it is available)


4. picture ID of parent/guardian registering student


5. a current immunization record (If you do not have an immunization record you may pick up a registration packet and return it when your child’s immunizations are complete. Your child will not be registered without a current immunization record. We want to avoid any inconvenience.)

A current immunization record must include:
4 - DPaP/DT (ONE DOSE ADMINISTERED ON OR AFTER THE 4TH BIRTHDAY)

3 - Polio (OPV or IPV) (ONE DOSE ADMINISTERED ON OR AFTER THE 4TH BIRTHDAY)

2 - Measles/Mumps/Rubella (MMR)

2 - Hepatitis A

3 - Hepatitis B

1 - Varicella (Chickenpox)

 

f you have moved within the Clark County School District and are now zoned for Goynes ES, you will need to bring in the following information to register:

2. Clark County School District withdrawal form from previous school (only if student is enrolling after the current school year has started)


3. picture ID of parent/guardian registering student.
