amilies, community leaders and the Goynes E.S. staff are all concerned
that students get to the school and home safely. In an effort to provide
information about safety concerns for students, a member of our PTA
board and local community leaders have helped us produce the information
on this page that describes the safety concerns that are part
essential to keep our student safer. Our hope, as a school community,
is that this information will help support families as they choose the
best routes for children to take when walking to school and home. We
urge each parent or guardian to walk routes with his/her child/children
and encourage parents/guardians to remind children to stay in safe places
as they travel so that safety habits are established with each child.
The children's safety is the highest priority. Here are some safety
tips that include The Big 9, Stranger Danger and a Safe Route to School
Map. Thank you for your assistance in developing safe route plans for
your child. We will plan to update this information as the Aliante area
grows so that the information may be helpful and current.
